Terms of Service

Slot is a booking and scheduling tool operated by Badillo Ventures that lets a guest view one owner’s real availability and book a meeting directly onto the owner’s calendar. Slot connects to the owner’s Google Calendar to read availability and to create, update, or cancel the calendar events that correspond to bookings made through the service. By using Slot — whether as the owner or as a guest booking a meeting — you agree to these terms.

You agree not to use Slot to:

• book, or attempt to book, meetings for a fraudulent, harassing, or unlawful purpose;
• submit false or misleading contact information when booking a meeting;
• interfere with, disrupt, or attempt to gain unauthorized access to Slot, its infrastructure, or another user’s account or data; or
• use automated means to scrape, flood, or abuse the booking form or any other part of the service.

The owner is responsible for the meeting types, availability rules, and calendar they configure, and for how they use information about guests who book with them.

A booking is confirmed once Slot creates the corresponding event. Either the guest or the owner may reschedule or cancel a booking using the tools Slot provides (the guest via the link in their confirmation email, the owner via the dashboard). Slot is a scheduling tool, not a party to the meeting itself, and is not responsible for whether either side attends.

Slot is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including without limitation warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. Slot does not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that calendar availability shown will always be perfectly accurate — for example, if Google Calendar is unreachable or a change is made directly on the calendar outside of Slot.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Badillo Ventures and the operator of Slot are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising out of or in connection with your use of the service, including a missed, double-booked, or incorrectly synced meeting.

These terms may be updated from time to time; the “Last updated” date above reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of Slot after a change takes effect constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
